Billing & invoicing
Create invoices, track what’s owed and mark payments here. Turn it off if you invoice from QuickBooks or anywhere else — approved work goes straight to Complete and no money is shown anywhere in the app.

Track contract value
Keeps the job’s value and extras on the project even with invoicing off — it’s how you judge whether a job was worth doing, not just how you bill it.

Weather warnings
Marks scheduled work the weather can actually stop, using the free National Weather Service forecast for each job’s own address — not one forecast for the whole day, because you run New Hampshire and Massachusetts on the same Thursday.

What counts as bad weather
Your numbers, and only for roof work — carrying panels. Surveys and permit visits ignore rain, wind and cold; nobody minds drizzle while they meet an inspector. Lightning is the one thing that stops all of them. Only the hours a crew is on site are checked, so a 7–9 AM job on a wet afternoon is never flagged.

Lightning stops everything
Including surveys. There is no threshold to tune — any forecast thunderstorm during the visit is flagged.
Photo waivers
Lets a manager close a required item without the photo, with a mandatory reason logged against their name. Turn it off if you bill a GC or an insurer who audits the photo file — then required means required, with no exceptions.
Crews can never waive — waiving is a manager decision, made here.
Crews can flag a blocker
Adds a Blocked button to required items in the field app. The crew types what’s in the way and it lands here on the item — it never ticks anything off. Turn it off and the crew just can’t submit until the item is done.
